The Southalls!

When Emma reached out to me about 3 months before her wedding date, I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to make all of it come together, but boy did it ever. From meeting this bride and hearing about her flower wants and wishes, I knew this was a day I needed to be a part of! Emma expressed to me what tones she knew worked well with her skin tone and to what degree of spring would work for an October wedding date. This was so so helpful in narrowing down the color palette and degree of color we used!

We chose all-white bridesmaids’ bouquets not to overwhelm the mismatched dresses + repurposed them throughout the venue. The broken arch was a show stopper for the ceremony, which was moved behind the head table during the reception to double the impact. The entryway staircase was adorned in smilax, and both fireplaces in that area. The reception space had a mix of bud vases, flower frogs, compote bowls, and colored taper candles. The head table is probably my favorite to date, with low + lush arrangements mixed in with pillar candles. It gave such a full look without being a complete flower runner.

I would do this day over and over and over again to see this vision come to life, celebrate incredible people, and work alongside incredible vendors!
