Enchanted Garden Birthday Styled Shoot | Studio V+V 6.21.22
We brought on all the fairies & butterflies & magical things for this birthday party shoot!! When Alexa & Allison reached out to me to inquire about florals for this I was over the moon. A couple of months ago I released my new pricing packages, including intimate gatherings. While I live for a wedding day set-up, I am also excited by all the other celebrations life blesses us with. How full circle would it be to provide flowers for a kid’s birthday party when I also flowered their parent’s wedding! I’m here for it!!
I’m also here for balance, which I have sensed my life needs after having non-stop wedding weekends and double headers every month. If I could focus on a smaller number of weddings and devote my full attention, I also free myself up to doing holidays and sweet events like this on off-weeks. I’ve been searching for ways to shake things up, and this shoot came at the perfect time!
Since this shoot was intended for a kid’s birthday party, I tried to opt for flowers that weren’t too elegant or serious. Since the theme was enchanted garden it felt appropriate that flowers should be included, but nothing over the top. The flower box backdrop added a showstopper element that could also double as a spot for party favors! I can only imagine feelings of wonder and whimsy being a four-year-old sitting down at the meadow-filled table. That’s the goal- to create a feeling of joy through the use of flowers in places where people come to gather and celebrate one another.
You have to check out the incredible features in this gallery! First, Alex Larberg’s eye for design was so evident in the cohesiveness of all the elements and she is such a light. Allison’s (Studio V+V and Veil +Vine Photo) talent is on full display in the gallery below, it speaks for itself! The Dallas Party brought the bounce house which Sarah Katherine adorned with vinyl and Glo Party Co. dressed up with balloons. I didn’t know a bounce house could get that dressed up! I was also blown away by the wavy kid’s table (and adorable mini chairs) and backdrops that Glo Party Co. provided because they could really fit so many different events. Please check out the rest of the vendors as they did an incredible job & would love to help with any of your party needs!!
